Astrology

Astrology is a belief system that suggests a relationship between the positions and movements of celestial bodies—such as planets and stars—and events on Earth, particularly human affairs and characteristics. Practitioners, known as astrologers, interpret these celestial placements to create horoscopes that provide insights into personality traits, life events, and potential outcomes. Astrology is often divided into various branches, including natal astrology, which focuses on an individual’s birth chart; horary astrology, which answers specific questions based on the time of inquiry; and mundane astrology, which deals with world events and trends. Though astrology has ancient roots and has been practiced in various cultures, it is commonly viewed as a pseudoscience due to the lack of empirical evidence supporting its claims. Astrologers typically use the zodiac, a belt of the sky divided into twelve signs, to categorize and interpret celestial influences.
