Basketbal

Basketbal, often referred to as basketball, is a team sport in which two teams, typically consisting of five players each, compete to score points by throwing a ball through the opposing team’s hoop or basket. The game is played on a rectangular court with a hoop elevated at each end. Players may advance the ball by dribbling (bouncing the ball while running) or passing it to teammates. Points are awarded for shots made from different ranges, with shots made from beyond a designated three-point line generally earning more points. The sport emphasizes skills such as shooting, dribbling, passing, and defense, and it involves both individual and team strategies. The objective of the game is to accumulate more points than the opposing team within the allotted game time.
