Ekonomika

Ekonomika, or economics in English, refers to the social science that studies how individuals, businesses, and governments allocate their resources to satisfy their needs and wants. It examines the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services, analyzing the behavior and interactions of economic agents. Economics is broadly divided into two main branches: microeconomics, which focuses on the decisions made by individuals and firms, and macroeconomics, which looks at the economy as a whole and studies aggregate indicators like GDP, unemployment rates, and inflation. The discipline also explores concepts such as supply and demand, market structures, and the role of government in the economy. Economists use various models and theories to understand economic phenomena, guide policy decisions, and predict future trends.
