Astrology

Astrology is a belief system that suggests a relationship between the positions and movements of celestial bodies—such as planets and stars—and events and characteristics in human life. Practitioners of astrology, known as astrologers, create charts based on the time and place of an individual’s birth (natal charts) to interpret their personality traits, behaviors, and potential life events. Astrology is often associated with the twelve zodiac signs, which correspond to specific date ranges and are believed to influence an individual’s characteristics. It encompasses various systems and traditions, including Western astrology, Vedic (or Jyotish) astrology, and Chinese astrology, each with its own methods and interpretations. While astrology has been practiced for thousands of years across different cultures, it is often considered a pseudoscience, as it lacks empirical evidence to support its claims.
